Highgate Hill T

This very steep shady site on the river had an old garden that had seen better days. It needed more retaining and reworking of the planting scheme – keeping as much as we could and adding complimenting plants. The owners built a new deck which left the perfect spot to build a firepit. I used recycled hardwood sleepers on the ground interplanted with shade loving groundcover in a pattern that makes the firepit the focal point.
